This trip will be a first for CSC4W! Group 2 will be doing a trip to Williams Pass. This is a beautiful trail that is only open during the month of September and it had been closed up until recently due to the reconstruction process of repairing the palisades along the Alpine Tunnel Trail.  This trail is rated difficult.

If time allows, there may be a side trip to Tomichi Pass as well. 

Group participants will meet at the large parking area on the East side of St. Elmo at 9 AM and will head to the trail from there.

If you would like to camp in the area Friday night to make it easier to get to the meeting place Saturday morning you are welcome to do so. There are several campgrounds and dispersed spots in the area. However, most of the official campgrounds in the area are very busy and usually full.

The leaders will be Sam, Mike and Kirk.
