This weekend there will be a Group 2 trip up to Mt. Antero and Browns Lake. This is a beautiful trail with steep climbs and lots of switchbacks on the way up to nearly the summit of the mountain. The trail ends at an elevation of 13,700 feet. 

Just South of the mountain we will traverse down into a valley to see the amazing Browns Lake. This is an out and back trail. 

The leaders will be Sam, Mike and Doug.

Group participants will meet at the large parking area on the East side of St. Elmo at 9 AM and will head to the trail from there.

If you would like to camp in the area Friday night to make it easier to get to the meeting place Saturday morning you are welcome to do so. There are several campgrounds and dispersed spots in the area. However, most of the official campgrounds in the area are very busy and usually full.
