Moab, Utah Trip Report 2008
Memorial Day weekend in Moab is always a ton of fun. Its always seems God Blesses us with perfect weather, warm enough that we can wear comfortable clothing but not the stifling heat that Moab has in July. This year there was a cold front that moved out just before we arrived in Moab.
This year we had 9 vehicles join up with us of various sizes and modifications, from barely more than stock to almost the trail buggy variety. One of the fun things about Moab is that it has trails that all of us were able to enjoy and share stories about. People decided to split up to drive other trails so there was a great coverage of different trails that we wheeled.
We had a couple drivetrain breakages, but we were able to purchase the parts locally and had capable mechanics that were able to trail fix each of the failures.
Some of the trails we ran were: Gemini Bridges, Bull Canyon, Hell's Revenge, Fins & Things, Poison Spider Mesa, Steel Bender, Pritchett Canyon, and area BFE.
Thanks to all who came, It was a great time.
